Artist – Giuseppe Arcimboldo Julian Opie The children will learn about Giuseppe Arcimboldo. They will produce their own self-portraits, placing the facial features in the correct place. Diwali The children will create their own Rangoli patterns & also use clay to make their own Diva lamps. |
The children will learn about Remembrance Sunday and create their own paper poppies. The children will use clay to create their own Christmas decorations. |

Football – The children will learn to dribble a football in a controlled manner. Yoga The children will perform yoga poses and control breathing. Fundamental Movement Skills The children will learn how to travel safely in different ways, e.g., running, jumping, hopping and skipping. They will learn to control their speed when travelling. Football Gymnastics The children will learn to move and balance in a variety of ways that are high and low on the floor and on apparatus. Common Animals The children will be able to identify and name a variety of common animals, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, including describing and comparing their structure. They will observe seasonal changes in weather and follow their adopted trees. |

The Great Fire of London The children will find out about the past through fiction, non-fiction books, eyewitness accounts, diaries, maps, pictures, paintings and websites. The children will create a timeline of events. The children will compare firefighting equipment today to that in 1666. The children will create their own diary entry (linked with English and Computing). The children will learn that improvements were made to London following the Great Fire. |
